We recommend using high shelves in a large Transit. The Transit is a large van with a clear shape in the boot. The almost straight side walls and partition wall allow efficient use of the boot space up to the roof.
The Transit has high rear wheel arches and for this reason the Transit’s van racking units has raised lower cabinets.
When choosing shelving, remember that practicality is made easier if you can access the shelves and drawers without getting into the car.
Take advantage of the ends of shelves and wall panels near doors. They’re great places for accessories, such as hangers and hose/cable holders.
The straight partition wall of the Ford Trasit Van also makes it easy to install shelves against the partition wall. Popular fixtures for the Transit’s bulkhead include 130 cm van shelvin g unit and 127 cm van racking unit.
Floor-mounted long drawers are worth exploring as an alternative to wall-mounted shelving. Long drawers can also be stacked on top of each other, for example against a partition wall, so that the long drawers open out of the sliding door.
