Mercedes-Benz Sprinter extra long A4 Shelving – Equipment Tips

• We recommend using tall shelving units in the Sprinter. The high cargo space allows for shelves to be utilized up to the ceiling.
• In the traditional rear-wheel-drive Sprinter, the rear wheel arches fit inside the lower cabinets of shelving and drawer units. However, in the front-wheel-drive Sprinter, the wheel arches are higher, requiring lower cabinets with a base.
• When selecting shelves, consider practicality – it’s helpful if you can access the shelves and pull-out drawers without having to step inside the van.
• Utilize the ends of shelves and the walls near the doors. These are excellent locations for accessories, such as hangers and hose/cable holders.
• The Sprinter’s flat partition wall also makes it easy to install shelving units against it. Popular choices for the partition wall include the 130 cm van shelving unit and the 127 cm van racking unit.
• Long drawer units installed on the floor are a great alternative to wall-mounted shelves. These long drawers can also be stacked on top of each other, for example, against the partition wall, allowing them to open outwards through the sliding door.
• If you have valuable tools in the cargo area and windows in the doors, we recommend installing window guards.
